THE DUTY-FREE TRADE

The duty free is the limit of goods that you can pass through the border to return to your country without having to declare and therefore pay anything. While for some agricultural products (coffee, alcohol, tobacco and similar), the limit is quantitative, for others (milk, butter, cheese, sweets...) the value and quantity are taken into account.

For all industrial products, except perfumes and eau de cologne, the allowances are fixed according to their value in euros.

Unless otherwise stated, the allowances are for adults and cannot be combined in terms of value, travellers or agricultural and industrial products.

Food: 

• Coffee: 1000 grams of coffee/ Tea: 200 grams

Quantities of alcohol accepted at the Andorran customs: 

• 1.5 litres of liqueur with more than 22 degrees of alcohol / 3 litres of liqueurs or aperitifs with less than 22 degrees of alcohol / 5 litres of wine or sparkling

Tobacco: 

• 300 cigarettes or 150 cigarillos (less than 3 g each) / 75 cigars (more than 3 g each) / 400 grams of tobacco

Other agricultural products: 

• 6 litres of milk / 1 kg of butter / 4 kg of cheese / 5 kg of sugar and sweets / 5 kg of meat / 
• The cumulative value of agri-food products must not exceed 300€ per traveller (150€ per traveller under 15).

Purchases of industrial products: 

• 75 g of perfume / 375 ml of eau de toilette 
• These purchases of industrial goods are capped at € 900 per adult, and € 450 for under 15
